Apple Updates WWDC 2014 App With Support For Downloading Session Videos

June 3, 2014
Shortly after wrapping up its keynote presentation at the start of WWDC 2014, Apple has updated the official iOS app of the conference with support for downloading session videos. Prior to its latest update, the WWDC app allowed only for the streaming of current and previous session videos. Now, it lets you (if you're a registered developer) download session videos right onto your iOS device to watch even without an Internet connection. As before, the WWDC app also lets you:
• Start watching on one iOS device, and pick up where you left off on another.
• Browse times, locations, and descriptions for sessions, labs, and special events.
• Mark schedule items as favorites.
 • Keep up with the latest news, get important notifications, and see daily photos.
 • View maps to find your way around Moscone West.
• Provide feedback on content and speakers for each session.
 • Add your pass to Passbook for faster check-in at WWDC.
The new version of the WWDC app also includes bug fixes. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.1 or later, the WWDC app is available in the App Store for free.
