Apple's 'Back To School' Promotion Could Start In 2 Weeks

June 16, 2014
College students, take note. Apple is set to begin its "Back to School" promotion in as little as two weeks, according to 9to5Mac. Held annually, the sales promotion usually starts by the end of June and continues through early September. Last year, Apple offered $100 App Store gift cards with Mac purchases, and $50 cards with the purchase of an iPad or iPhone. Apple typically also offers discounts on printers around the same time. Until 2013, Mac-buying students received a free iPod touch. According to several employees, Apple Stores will begin changing store glass window displays overnight on Monday, June 30. To take advantage of this year's promotion, you'll need to provide a valid Student ID at the time of purchase.
