Chat-Like Email App Hop Updated With Support For Group Collaboration And More

Hop, the app that turns regular emails into chat-like streams, has just received a major update that delivers a number of enhancements.
Foremost among these enhancements is the introduction of Hop Groups. Hop Groups enable you to easily communicate and collaborate with your friends and colleagues via email.
You start a group by adding members using only their email addresses, regardless of whether they have Hop or not. And since you're technically using email, you're free to add any document, photo, video, link, or any other file you'd like to share.
Those who don't use Hop can view the group timeline with the link that Hop automatically generates for the group, with the shared files available to view as attachments.
In addition to Hop Groups, the latest update to Hop includes revamped phone contacts, a major redesign, more notifications, and customizations, among other improvements:
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later, Hop is available on the App Store for free. Released in October last year for iPhone and iPod touch, Hop made the jump to iPad with its universal update last February. - New Preferences - Disable message preview in notifications, control what history included in reply for old-school email clients
