Misfit For iOS Updated With Pebble Integration And New Weekly Sleep View

June 29, 2014

A few days ago, Misfit introduced an app integrated with its Shine fitness tracker for Pebble. Now, as expected, the official iOS app of Misfit has been updated with support for the popular e-ink smart watch.

After updating to the latest version of the Misfit app, you can now track your steps and points using your Pebble smart watch. Just open the app, select Pebble when prompted to choose a device, and tap to link your Pebble with the Misfit app.

In case linking or syncing your Pebble is unsuccessful, try opening the Pebble Smartwatch app first and then open the Misfit app.

In addition to Pebble integration, the new version of Misfit for iOS features a weekly sleep chart for comparing your Zs over a seven-day period. It also includes various performance improvements and stability enhancements.

Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later, Misfit is available on the App Store for free.

Released last year, the Misfit Shine is a $100 fitness tracker that can monitor activity and sleep. It's about the size of two quarters and can be worn in a variety of ways, typically with a wristband, as a pendant, or as a clothing attachment.
