Plunder Away! PlunderNauts Gets A New Galaxy, New Bosses And Lots More

Backflip Studios' space operatic PlunderNauts has received a big update adding tons of new content to the free application.
First up, scurvy space dogs can now enjoy a brand new galaxy in the app -- the Scimitar Galaxy -- and this brings with it "new and dangerous pirate bosses" who go by the name of the Astral Plane Raiders.
Blade and Crab starships have also made an appearance in version 1.3.0 of the game, and you'll need to do battle against both vessels in order to secure your bounty. It's not all bad news, however.
This is because at long last, a pause button has been enabled for in-app battles, meaning the doorbell, low battery life, or who knows what else will no longer distract you from PlunderNauts' fun battle system. Now, you can simply pause the battle, attend to the problem, and get back to plundering in outer-space as quickly as possible.
On a final note, forging has been improved in the game, and a wide ranging selection of bug fixes have also been issued in PlunderNauts 1.3.0.
To recap, here's a complete list of changes, as outlined in the app's release notes:
You can grab the recently updated PlunderNauts on the App Store free of charge, and as mentioned, it's optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Parents should be aware that the game includes in-app purchases (IAPs), and these can be restricted from inside the iOS Settings app. Sci-fi fans may also be pleased to learn that Disney's freemium Star Wars Scene Maker application has launched on the App Store and is available to download now.
