Rhapsody For iOS Updated With Shazam-Like TrackMatch, Live Radio And UnRadio
June 19, 2014
Rhapsody, one of the first on-demand music subscription services, has just updated its official iOS app with several notable new features.
First up, there's a new feature called TrackMatch. Much like Shazam and SoundHound, TrackMatch lets you identify and tag songs that are currently playing (e.g. at a bar or on TV). It then lets you create stations around these songs or save them as favorites for listening later.
The latest update to Rhapsody for iOS also introduces a new Live Radio feaure, enabling you to listen to live stations from around the world.

Most notably, the app now supports UnRadio, a new music streaming service just launched by Rhapsody in partnership with the so-called "Uncarrier" T-Mobile. Unradio offers free or discounted Internet radio with unlimited skips, offline listening options, and no ads.
UnRadio is available for free to subscribers of T-Mobile’s $80-per-month Simple Choice Unlimited plan. Other T-Mobile subscribers can get it for $4 per month, while non-T-Mobile customers can access it for $5 per month.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later, Rhapsody is available on the App Store for free, with a $9.99 in-app purchase offered for a Rhapsody Premier monthly subscription.
