The Daily Show Blasts Google Glass And Its Users

June 13, 2014
When do you know Google Glass has an image problem? When comedians begin laughing about it, and its wearers. On Comedy Central's The Daily Show, correspondent Jason Jones recently interviewed Google Glass users who say many folks are being mean to them. The clip is absolutely hilarious. Take a look: Google Google has long been criticized by non-Glass users, who fear they are being recorded by the $1,500 computerized device. In recent months, the device has been banned at various types of businesses around the world, including casinos, strip clubs, restaurants, and movie theaters. First introduced and made available to Google I/O developers in April 2013, Google Glass features an optical head-mounted display, and allows wearers to communicate with the Internet via natural language voice commands. A less expensive Google Glass for the consumer market is expected to launch later this year.
