TodayLock Jailbreak Tweak Brings Weather, Calendar To The iOS Lock Screen
TodayLock, a recently released jailbreak tweak, revamps the iOS Lock screen through adding weather information, Calendar app events, and reminders. You can download the package for $1.99 on the Cydia Store and it's optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch (including ARM64-devices).
Once installed, a new preferences pane is added to the Settings app, and here users can enable or disable TodayLock outright while also customizing a number of its features. When activated, information from the Weather, Calendar, and Reminders apps appears at the Lock screen; weather information can be refreshed by pressing the Home button, and the next upcoming Calendar app event is displayed alongside iOS Reminders.
The Lock screen background is blurred slightly in order to make the above information readable, and the entire TodayLock interface disappears when iOS notifications appear at the Lock screen.
In the Settings app, users can configure these elements and a number of different blur modes are available to choose from. You can enable and disable individual sections in TodayLock, too, while also altering more subtle elements including text style and temperature units.
Finally, the jailbreak tweak supports English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Russian, Dutch, Finnish, Hungarian, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish, and Chinese (both simplified and traditional).
If you're looking to revamp your Lock screen, consider downloading TodayLock. As mentioned, the package is available for $1.99 on the Cydia Store, and it's optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
