Foursaken Media, the developer behind fun titles like Bug Heroes 2 and Block Fortress: War, has been hard at work creating their next game – Phantom Rift.
Described as an adventure/RPG with a unique and strategic battle system, Phantom Rift will see gamers taking control of a powerful wizard who is lost in a dark and ethereal world.
They’ll need to figure out why they are there by doing things like interacting with other characters, completing side quests, and conquering a variety of dungeons.
And here’s the just-released trailer. Click here if you can’t see it.
Over the course of the game, players can collect over 120 unique spells that offer gamers a huge amount of strategic options.
The game will also offer interesting multiplayer functionality. While gamers are exploring the Phantom Rift world, they will be matched with other players from around the world. At any time, they can choose to battle another wizard. The winner will receive a spell from the loser’s pouch.
Players will even be able to easily customize their wizards with items like hats, helmets, crowns, armor, furs, swords, and more.
We’ll definitely let you know if we hear anything more about Phantom Rift. It is currently slated to be released in September.
