It's Time To Chat As Facebook Messenger Arrives On iPad

On Thursday, Facebook unveiled Facebook Messenger 7.0 on the App Store. The update brings the app to the iPad for the very first time.
First released for iPhone in 2011, the free Facebook Messenger app has added a number of new features in recent months.
In March, message forwarding and group creation was added. A month later, Facebook added VoIP. In June, Facebook Messenger added Snapchat-like capabilities for video sharing.
