Simogo unveils new 'challenge-free' iOS game called The Sailor's Dream

Simogo has just unveiled its newest game, which is bound to be another hit among gamers, especially those of a more artistic inclination.
According to the award-winning indie development studio, the upcoming game, titled The Sailor's Dream, rounds up the suite of three games it has been creating along with the supernatural Year Walk and the intriguing Device 6. This suite is preceded by Simogo's trio of more casual games, comprising Kosmo Spin, Bumpy Road, and Beat Sneak Bandit.
Simogo considers The Sailor's Dream the "culmination" of everything it has worked on as far as coming up with new ways of storytelling is concerned. "It also shares some DNA with Year Walk and Device 6 when it comes to navigation and interactions, the concept of the players piecing together a bigger story from smaller pieces, and just as previous efforts it does include quite a lot of written text," the studio notes in its announcement post. "But, as you know it’s important for us to have an element of surprise and originality so that’s where the similarities end."

Inspired by books, radio plays, and musicals, The Sailor's Dream is said to be a "challenge-free" game featuring a nonlinear story told through words, sounds, and illustrations. I guess what that means is Simogo has another winner in its hands.
The Sailor's Dream is scheduled to be released on iOS in late 2014.
