Ironhide Game Studio teases a new Kingdom Rush game coming this fall
Great news for Kingdom Rush fans. Developer of the series, Ironhide Game Studio, has announced that a new game is coming sometime this fall.
The news was unveiled in a TouchArcade forum post:
It is good you made it this far…a new rush is coming!
A new world, a new race, a new ancient evil!
Get ready for an awesome overwhelmingly new Kingdom Rush game!
As you can see, they also posted a teaser image with the tagline “Every Adventure Has A Beginning.”
We’ll definitely let you know if we hear any more news about the new Kingdom Rush game.
If you can’t wait for the new title, Kingdom Rush and Kingdom Rush Frontiers can be downloaded now on the App Store.
The original game costs $0.99 for the iPhone/iPod touch version and $2.99 for the HD edition designed for the iPad/iPad mini. The sequel, which landed last year, costs $2.99 for the iPhone/iPod touch app and $4.99 for the HD version.
Kingdom Rush helped to define the tower defense genre, so it will be interesting to see another game in the series, especially if it is a prequel as hinted to by the image.
