PayPal Here set to give merchants on-the-go access to essential sales reports

PayPal is set to roll out a new major feature for its official mobile credit card processing app, PayPal Here.
As announced by PayPal in a new blog post, PayPal Here is going to be enhanced with a new Sales Reports feature. This is designed to provide merchants on-the-go access to essential data, including insights into their transactions, their sales performance over time, and their most popular payment modes, among other information.

The new Sales Reports feature is set to be added to PayPal Here "over the next few weeks." Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later, PayPal Here is available on the App Store for free. Released in March 2012, PayPal Here was updated to version 2.0 last April with a new design and a number of new features. PayPal's flagship iOS app was updated a month ago with a new feature that lets you, as a customer, link your loyalty cards to the app so that you can carry virtual versions of them on your iOS device. PayPal for iOS is expected to gain integration with Apple's Touch ID fingerprint scanning feature with the launch of iOS 8 this fall.
