Robot combat shooter Epoch 2 goes free for first time ever as Apple's App of the Week
Epoch 2 has just gone free for the first time since its launch in November last year. And it’s because the acclaimed cover shooter sequel has just been chosen by Apple as its App of the Week.
Epoch 2 continues the epic saga of post-apocalyptic robot combat that began in the original Epoch game. Apple’s App Store Notes for the game states:
Each week, we select a great app and bring it to you, for free, as our App of the Week. (In-App Purchases sold separately.) With society in ruins and mechanized armies locked in war, a lone robot fights to help his human friend. Battle troops, drones, and bosses in thrilling third-person combat, using cover and fierce attacks to survive overwhelming odds. Fluid controls, gorgeous visuals, and an engaging backstory will keep you hooked as you uncover the secrets of Epoch 2′s devastated world.
