The NFL Now channel arrives on the Apple TV
As expected, the NFL Now channel has arrived on the Apple TV.
And that’s great timing as the football season begins early next month. Fans can view game highlights, original content from NFL media and the 32 football teams, live press conferences, and more.
For an additional $1.99 per month, viewers can subscribe to the NFL Now Plus service. That will give fans instant in-game highlights from each matchup.
Adding a personalized touch, premium subscribers will also receive a unique video stream based on their favorite NFL team, players, NFL.com fantasy rosters, and viewing preferences over time.
The Now Plus service also includes access to NFL Films and its large vault of shows and documentaries.
NFL Now can also be accessed with the universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
While revamped Apple TV hardware might not arrive until next year, Apple has been busy improving the service’s content offerings. Some of the more recently added channels include FOX NOW, CNBC, ABC News, and PBS Kids.
