Check out the first unboxing video of Apple's iPhone 6
Earlier today, we featured a couple of hands-on videos for Apple’s 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus, which were posted ahead of the devices’ official launch on Friday. Now, here comes a video showing the unboxing of the iPhone 6.
Touted by T3 as the first unboxing video of the iPhone 6 on YouTube (via MacRumors), the two-minute video, shown below, features the device’s packaging and everything inside it.
Notably, the iPhone 6′s packaging shows the profile of the handset at the top and the Apple logo with the iPhone branding on either long side. On the packaging of previous iPhone models, the full-color image of the unit is shown at the top and the Apple logo is embossed on either short side and the iPhone branding on either long side.
But as in previous models’ packaging, the iPhone 6′s indicates the unit’s capacity, the box’s contents, the device’s supported technologies, and other information at the bottom.

As expected, the box contains the device itself. Note, though, that the card base on which the unit resides has a corner hole to accommodate the device’s protruding camera ring.
It also includes a SIM ejecting tool, the usual set of documentation, a pair of EarPods with remote and mic, a Lightning cable, and a USB power adapter.
Both the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus are set to be available to purchase starting on Friday, Sept. 19, a week after they were made available to preorder. If you’ve preordered a unit for delivery on said date, expect to receive and unbox your very own iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus by the end of launch day.
