In the side-scrolling CounterSpy, stealth is the name of the game
CounterSpy, a new $4.99 app for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, puts gamers in charge of a secret agent attempting to keep the world safe from the threat of nuclear warfare.
Set during the Cold War, the universal application charges players to “jump into action, stealthily sabotage dastardly plans, and deceptively maintain world peace” in a side-scrolling setup featuring colorful, 2.5-D graphics and environments.
Over in the app’s release notes, developer Sony adds:
The game utilizes procedural content generation so missions are always changing to offer something new and challenging. Discover blueprints and dossiers that give you access to new, powerful weapons and features.
Plus, if you have a copy of the console version of CounterSpy (which is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita), users can link-up the iOS application in order to “complete your gaming experience and become the ultimate spy!”
Do you have what it takes to be a CounterSpy? If so, you can pick up the new application for $4.99 on the App Store, and as mentioned, it’s optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
