Daddy Long Legs endless walking game stumbles onto iOS
Daddy Long Legs has finally stumbled onto the App Store.
“Stumbled” is actually an apt verb, considering that Daddy Long Legs is touted as “the endless walker on stilts.”
In Daddy Long Legs, you have to control a spider-like fellow with a couple of, yep, long legs. In fact, each of the poor creature’s legs is five times the length of his head. Unsurprisingly, the guy has quite a lot of trouble walking.
That’s where you come in. Just tap the screen to alternate between Daddy Long Legs’ legs and make him walk and not fall flat on his face as far as you can. It sounds simple, sure, but it’s actually hard and challenging in much the same way as Dong Nguyen‘s infamous Flappy Bird and Swing Copters.

Daddy Long Legs also encourages friendly competition as it presents the high scores of your Game Center friends right along the title character’s path. In addition, it lets you share replays of your weird walks and silly stumbles via Everyplay.
Simply put, Daddy Long Legs is simply fun. As noted in our GamingSoon feature on Daddy Long Legs:
Not only is there a lot of humor to be found in Daddy Long Legs’ failure as he attempts to walk, but the accompanying sound effects are also pretty funny. The game’s graphics and simple concept will make it a great download for nearly anyone.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Daddy Long Legs is available on the App Store for free, with no in-app purchases or ads whatsoever.
