Flic lets you flick à la Tinder to keep or delete photos from your camera roll
Tinder has become so popular that its signature card-based “like or pass” approach to matchmaking has been applied to other applications. We now have apps that are touted as Tinder for dogs, Tinder for jobs, and Tinder for real estate, just to name a few. And now, there’s Tinder for deleting unwanted photos as well.
It’s called Flic.
As its name, along with its comparison with Tinder, suggests, Flic lets you flick to keep or delete a photo from your camera roll: right to keep or left to delete. And if you ever change your mind about something you’ve deleted, you can restore it from the app’s trash bin before removing your trashed photos for good.
Flic offers a series of photos taken or saved within the span of one month for your perusal. As noted by developer Lifehack Labs, “Flic will even remind you each month to go back and clean up your previous month’s pictures so your camera roll stays clean and you don’t waste valuable phone storage space.”

The app also lets you know how much storage space you’ve freed up and gives you the option to delete photos from Photo Stream on iCloud.
Flic is a quicker, easier, and more interesting way to remove unwanted photos from your camera roll than having to delete them one by one. And it’s thanks to iOS 8′s improved permissibility to third-party apps that Flic is able to offer photo management and deletion outside the built-in Photos app itself.
