Perhaps most notably, iCab Mobile for iOS 8 features support for the operating system’s extensions. Specifically, the app now supports the iOS 8 extensions of a couple of external password management apps for website logins: 1Password and Dashlane.
Note, though, that if you’re upgrading from an earlier version of the app to its latest version, iCab Mobile 8.5, your saved passwords and forms are not carried over. Developer Alexander Clauss explains:
When updating iCab Mobile from older versions to version 8.5, the previously saved passwords and saved forms can not be preserved, so you need to enter and save the passwords again and also save the forms again. The reason for this are changes in iOS 8 (related to the new iCloud features of iOS 8) which require changes in certain App properties and App signing. Unfortunately Apple seems to have overlooked that all these changes in iOS 8 could result in the one-time data loss of the data that is saved in the keychain (passwords and saved forms data). Unfortunately there seems to be no solution for this which does not result in data loss.
Note that you no longer have to reenter passwords and forms once you’ve saved them in the new version of iCab Mobile.

The newly updated app also features popover menus instead of full-screen menus on iPhone in iOS 8, as in the app’s iPad edition.
Search suggestion retrieval from Bing and Weibo, Bluetooth keyboard shortcuts for scrolling by line and by page, and some bug fixes are also included in the new version of iCab Mobile.
The app is now also optimized for the Retina HD displays of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus.
