Noteshelf 9.0 features integration with the Livescribe 3 handwriting smart pen
Noteshelf, one of the notable apps listed in AppAdvice’s Handwriting Apps for iPad AppGuide, has just been updated to version 9.0 with, most significantly, support for Livescribe 3.
That’s write, I mean, right. Noteshelf 9.0 introduces integration with the “automagical” Livescribe 3 handwriting smart pen.
If you want to use your Livescribe 3 smart pen and compatible “dot paper” notebook with Noteshelf, you first have to download the Livescribe Sync Pack from the store within Noteshelf 9.0. After installing the sync pack, pair and connect your smart pen to Noteshelf and tap the pen icon to automatically sync your handwriting from your Livescribe notebook to Noteshelf.

In addition to Livescribe 3 integration, Noteshelf 9.0 includes the following improvements to the app‘s shelves, covers, and writing tools:
- Brand new set of shelf themes and covers
- Performance improvements in Shelf and Page Finder screens
- Improved selection and management of writing tools
- Ability to delete in-app downloaded packs and themes
- New PDF papers included
