Satisfy your monstrous need for speed with Asphalt 8: Airborne's Halloween update

October 29, 2014

Have a monstrous need for speed? Then make sure to check out Gameloft’s latest update to Asphalt 8: Airborne.

Arriving in time for Halloween, the update dares you to “terrify other players by infecting them” in the new Infected Mode of the popular free-to-play racing game’s special Halloween-themed multiplayer event.

Apart from its scary-good enhancements for Halloween, the new version of Asphalt 8: Airborne offers two different time-limited events every day. It also lets you drive the fastest car in the game, the Koenigsegg One:1, for free and for good.

Moreover, the new update restores Twitch broadcasting functionality.

Support for gameplay streaming via Twitch was added to Asphalt 8: Airborne in March, thereby making the game the first mobile title to gain Twitch integration. The feature made its way to two of Gameloft’s Order & Chaos games, the mobile MOBA Heroes of Order & Chaos in August and the mobile MMORPG Order & Chaos Online a couple of weeks ago.

Asphalt 8: Airborne was updated last month with Metal-enabled visual enhancements, an exclusive Metal season, multiplayer events, new cars, and more.

The new version of Asphalt 8: Airborne is available now on the App Store for free.

Last month, Gameloft released the latest title in the Asphalt racing game series, Asphalt Overdrive. Touted by the game developer and publisher as the first spinoff of the series, Asphalt Overdrive is a free-to-play game designed for on-the-go racing.
