Candy Crush Soda Saga bubbles its way into the App Store with more match-three madness

November 11, 2014

First announced earlier this year, King has just released Candy Crush Soda Saga on the App Store worldwide. It shouldn’t come as a big surprise, but the new app is a sequel to the hugely popular Candy Crush Saga.

If you’ve played the original, or any match-three title, you’ll have no problem jumping right into Candy Crush Soda Saga. Featuring more than 140 levels, gamers are still exploring the Candy Kingdom.

A new character, Kimmy, will join Tiffi and Mr. Toffee in the sequel. There are five unique game types available, including Soda Mode where players need to fill the board with bubbly cola to save the candy bears.

Players will also be able to match four candies in a square to make a Swedish Fish or match seven candies to create a Coloring Candy.

A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Candy Crush Soda Saga can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. As usual, there are a number of in-app purchases available.

And the original Candy Crush Saga is still available to download as well.
