Weather Live update adds an alternative Notification Center widget and more
Beautiful weather app Weather Live has just gotten even better with an update to version 4.1.
Most importantly, the new version offers optimization for the higher resolution screen of the iPhone 6 Plus.
Developer Apalon Apps has also introduced an alternative Notification Center widget that is more compact and shows a little less information. Users can still select the advanced information widget, if desired.
If you give permission, the widget will now also track your location and display weather information from where you are currently located.
Here are the rest of the changes:
• Now you have an option to disable Location Services arrow in the status bar. Go to your device Settings / Privacy / Location Services / Weather Live and choose “While Using the App” option. Either way your battery life is not affected, it’s nothing more than an arrow. • Evening Report Notification will keep you informed on weather changes. Stay updated 24/7! • App settings redesigned. Now less steps needed to adjust the app to your liking and discover new and existing features and functions of Weather Live. • Improvements to the pressure parameters
A universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini, Weather Live can be downloaded now on the App Store for $1.99.
You can also snag the Weather Bundle for $5.97. You’ll get Weather Live, NOAA Radar Pro, and My Alarm Clock for a discount compared to buying all three titles separately.
