The new additions were first reported by MacRumors.
Following its introduction of Flyover views for Yosemite National Park in California and Wellington, New Zealand, Apple has now added Flyover support for the following nine locations, including popular areas and landmarks in Arizona, Arkansas, France, New Zealand, Sweden, and Wyoming:
- Grand Canyon, Arizona
- Meteor Crater, Arizona
- Royal Gorge, Arkansas
- Avignon, France
- Biarritz, France
- Perpignan, France
- Dunedin, New Zealand
- Visby, Sweden
- Devil’s Tower, Wyoming
These and 92 other locations around the world are currently supported by Apple’s Flyover feature in Maps on iOS and Mac.
As mentioned, Apple’s Siri has also begun providing movie showtime listing information for new locations. When prompted, Siri now brings up screening times in Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, and Spain, in addition to the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.
