Apple devices among Google's top trending consumer electronics searches in 2014
Google has just released “Year in Search 2014,” this year’s edition of its annual list of the terms most frequently searched for through its popular search engine. And this year, terms pertaining to three of Apple’s top-line products are among the top Google tech searches.
Google’s chart of the top trending searches of the year in the Consumer Electronics category include “iPhone 6,” “Apple Watch,” and “iPad Air.” The search term for Apple’s latest flagship smartphones, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus, is at No. 1 on the chart, with the terms for Apple’s upcoming smart watch and flagship tablet at No. 8 and No. 10, respectively.
Apple unveiled the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6 Plus, and the Apple Watch in September, and the second-generation iPad Air aka iPad Air 2 in October.
