Bringing Opera Coast to version 4.0, the update most notably introduces a new Discover news feed aimed at helping you break your otherwise boring browsing habits.
“All you have to do is open Opera Coast, swipe down and dig in,” the Opera team notes of Discover. “Every time you open it, there will be something new for you to read or explore – news stories, articles, sites. You don’t have to go searching for inspiration – we’ll bring it to you.”
Opera Coast 4.0 also features Opera Turbo, a compression mode aimed at saving mobile data (especially on roaming) and optimizing browsing speed on slow networks. Presumably, Opera Coast’s Turbo mode also includes the video optimization technology introduced in Opera Mini last month.

The update also adds support for sharing a webpage instantly with friends via Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, Line, WhatsApp, KakaoTalk, VKontakte, and Odnoklassniki.
Another notable feature in Opera Coast 4.0 is support for Handoff, enabling you to pick up your browsing between the app on your iOS device and the default browser on your Mac computer, provided Bluetooth 4.0 and iCloud are enabled on both devices.
Last but not least, Opera Coast 4.0 includes a special landscape mode on iPhone 6 Plus.
