We have a collection of apps and games today that are both fun and practical. Clip images and GIFs of things you want to reference with Pickle. Check out the weather across the globe with MeteoEarth. Or just burn some time playing Super Lemonade Factory and Monster Dash.

iPhone:

Pickle – Smart Clipper (WEB IMAGE, GIF & SCREENSHOT) ($0.99 → Free, 12.6 MB): Clip images and GIFs from any website with this beautifully designed productivity app. It’s the ideal app for those who prefer visual references and reminders.

To clip an image or GIF from a website, you’ll first need to launch Pickle. You can then head to Safari and copy the image, GIF, or URL, which will automatically place it into Pickle. If you choose to copy a URL, Pickle will automatically pull every single image and GIF from the website. You can then arrange your captured content within lists by selecting one and swiping right to left. Swipe left to right over an image or GIF to share or delete it. Pickle includes 10 list colors to choose from, the ability to edit and rearrange lists, and Dropbox support.

MeteoEarth ($2.99 → Free, 22.8 MB): Get a good look at what the weather is like all around the world with MeteoEarth. It’s for those who prefer interactive weather apps.

MeteoEarth changes the way you look at the weather. It’s adapted from professional weather broadcast tools in order to provide you with an interactive and visually stunning environment. You’re able to navigate the 3-D globe with a swipe and use common gestures to zoom in an out. Place wind, cloud, precipitation, pressure, and temperature layers over the globe and hit play to watch them change throughout the day. Super Lemonade Factory ($2.99 → Free, 29.0 MB): A puzzle platform game that’s just oozing with charm. Super Lemonade Factory is for those who enjoy indie games with amazing pixel art and tunes.

It’s almost difficult not to appreciate the effort and attention to detail put into Super Lemonade Factory. Take control of Andre and his wife Liselot as they journey through the lemonade factory they are set to inherit. To make your way to each exit in the factory, you’ll need to switch between the two characters since each one has their own unique abilities. The game includes a unique storyline, 72 levels, the ability to create your own levels, retro pixel art, a chiptune soundtrack, and achievements via Game Center.

Super Lemonade Factory is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 136 ratings.

Crusaders Quest ($1.99 → Free, 88.5 MB): Command the greatest pixel army ever assembled in this action RPG. Fans of the original Final Fantasy games will have a blast with this one.

With its 8-bit pixel art graphics, Crusaders Quest was designed to look and feel like your favorite classic RPGs. You must command a group of rag-tag crusaders on a journey to save the Goddesses and utilize their powers to repel the darkness. To take down your foes, you must react quickly and match your heroes’ skill blocks in real-time. As you fight your way across the pixelated battlefield, you’ll be able to level up your heroes and unlock new powerful weapons. No child can resist the charm of a Toca Boca app! All they have to do is tap on the blank Mini to get started. They can then design their own Mini by adding eyes, mouths, noses, and eyebrows. Reversible stamps can be slapped on to create patterns and replicate clothes, and they’re able to utilize 60 different colors however they wish. When your child’s Mini is complete, they’re able to add color to the background and share it with the world. There are no rules here, so just let your child’s imagination run wild.

Monster Dash ($0.99 → Free, 41.6 MB): An endless distance game that has you running through environments and blasting monsters as Barry Steakfries. It’s the perfect game for those who enjoyed Jetpack Joyride.
