Video compares size of 12.2-inch 'iPad Air Plus' mockup with actual Apple devices
If you’re wondering just how large Apple’s rumored largest tablet yet is, wonder no more.
Just check out the video below (via NowhereElse) to see how the size of the so-called “iPad Air Plus” aka “iPad Pro” compares with the sizes of several Apple devices currently available on the market.
In the video, the mockup of the iPad Air Plus is based on the dimensions indicated in the purported device schematics published by the Japanese Apple fan magazine Mac Fan last week.
According to the drafts, the device has a display measuring 12.2 inches, rather than the first rumored 12.9 inches, and has dimensions of 12 inches by 8.7 inches by 0.28 inches.

Unsurprisingly, as shown in the video, the iPad Air Plus is larger than the 9.7-inch iPad Air, the 7.9-inch iPad mini, the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6, and the 4-inch iPhone 5.
Interestingly, the rumored device is almost as big as the 13-inch MacBook Pro or MacBook Air, prompting speculations of its ability to run OS X as well as iOS.
In addition to being larger, the iPad Air Plus is rumored to come equipped with a more powerful “A9” processor. It’s also said to have dual top and bottom speakers for stereo audio.
The iPad Air Plus is reportedly scheduled to be launched along with the “iPad mini 4,” which is expected to feature a thinner profile and an A8X chip, in the second quarter of 2015.
