Apple has just begun seeding another developer beta of OS X Yosemite 10.10.2.

The new beta, which is already the fifth beta of the upcoming software update, comes just a week after the release of the fourth beta. The first one was released in November and the second and third ones in December.

The new beta, which is assigned with the build number 14C99d, is available now to registered developers and AppleSeed participants through the Updates tab in the Mac App Store or via the Mac Dev Center.

Apple has specified Wi-Fi, Mail, and VoiceOver as focus areas for the new beta, as with its predecessors.

Wi-Fi connectivity issues are of particular note, given that they’ve been encountered by users since the launch of OS X Yosemite 10.10 in October and many of them remain even after the release of supposed bug fixes through OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 in November.

Apart from the developer betas, a prerelease build of OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 was released by Apple last month for testing by members of its public beta program.
