Letterpad, an upcoming game from NimbleBit, will be playable on the Apple Watch
The Apple Watch is going to be more than just notifications and activity tracking. According to a report from Touch Arcade, the upcoming word game from NimbleBit – Letterpad – will also be playable on the wearable device.
In the game, players will be given a grid of nine letters and must make words related to a specific topic. And you can see how the game will look on the device in the pictured mockup.
As you probably know, the Apple Watch is slated to arrive in “early” 2015. The latest information says that Apple is planning for the device to hit the market before the end of March.
Buyers can select from three different models of the watch. The low-end Sport will start at $349. Pricing for the other versions has yet to be announced.
Letterpad looks to be a perfect match for the smaller screen of the Apple Watch. I’m interested to see what other types of games developers can create for the device.
We’ll let you know when we hear any more about Letterpad, including a release date.
The latest game from NimbleBit, Golfinity, landed in the App Store late last year and brings a new take on the usual golfing game. The developer is also known for popular games like Tiny Tower and Disco Zoo.
