Take your iPhone 6 to 88 mph with this amazing DeLorean ‘Back to the Future II’ case
Great Scott! Shortlist.com recently spotted this unbelievably cool iPhone 6 case shaped like the iconic DeLorean from the 1989 movie “Back to the Future II.”
Currently only available in Japan, the case is a detailed model of the time machine that took to the skies in the film, which as you probably know is set in 2015.
The wheels on the case are set to “hover” mode, and the front tires need to be flipped out to access the camera, power button, and volume/vibrate buttons. And if that wasn’t enough, when you receive a call, the headlights and external car wires light up and blink.
Here’s a video showing off the case. Click here if you can’t see it.
The case can be preordered for around $50 now from Bandai’s site. Delivery is expected sometime in June, if you actually live in Japan.
I don’t know if I’m a big enough “Back to the Future” fan to actually use this case in public, but I would definitely try it out it some generous Japanese reader would send one my way.
