Verizon iPhone users will be able to exclusively view the 2015 NFL Draft with the NFL Mobile app
Less than three months after Super Bowl XLIX, the next NFL season is heating up with the 2015 NFL Draft, which kicks off this Thursday, April 30 in Chicago.
And just like in previous years, iPhone and iPad users can watch all of the draft action with the NFL Mobile app. Verizon Wireless has the exclusive rights to show the action on smartphones, so you’ll have to be a customer of the carrier to watch on your iPhone.
Customers of other carriers will still be able to view some features in the app like a draft tracker, news, and more from Chicago.
The situation is just a bit better for iPad users. You’ll just need to log-in with cable provider credentials and be subscribed to the NFL Network to watch the draft using the app. A number of major providers, like Verizon FiOS, AT&T, Comcast, and Time Warner, are supported along with many other smaller carriers.
After kicking off with Round 1 selections on Thursday, the draft will continue on Friday and come to an end on Saturday with pick No. 256, also known as Mr. Irrelevant.
You can download the NFL Mobile app now on the App Store for free.
