Drawing with Carl ($2.99 → Free, 67.6 MB): Don’t just doodle alone, draw with Carl and his friends with this art creation app. It’s ideal for young artists.

Every activity is better with a friend around, and Drawing with Carl proves it. The app includes a variety of drawing tools and colors to choose from along with a set of cool stickers of Carl and his friends. A nifty mirroring effect is also available to add a new twist to your designs. The app includes the ability to load images from your library, and the ability to share your creations via Facebook or email.

DrumKick ($4.99 → Free, 77.9 MB): Put on a show with DrumKick. It’s ideal for drummers and anyone else who enjoys creating music.

DrumKick may look like your everyday music app, but it has a little trick up its sleeve. If you have two iDevices at home, they can be paired in order to create a virtual kick drum pedal. Simply launch the app one one device and it will act as your main set. Launch the app on a separate iPhone or iPod touch, pair it with the main iDevice, and stick it in your sock and it will act as your virtual kick pedal by sensing movement. It’s quite the system, and whole lot more fun than just playing on screens.

Playroom – Lessons with Max – educational preschool games collection ($1.99 → Free, 46.0 MB): A collection of five games designed for toddlers and preschoolers. It’s ideal for children ages three through six.

Your child is able to join an adorable kitty named Max on a playroom date. They’re able to participate in games of seek and find, matching, memory, puzzles, and colors and numbers. Each can be played separately or all at once using the Game Mix mode. You’re also able to create custom voice-overs for all of the game’s responses.

Bugs, shapes and robots face paint for toddler ($2.99 → Free, 72.5 MB): An educational game that will help your child learn their shapes. It’s intended for children ages two through six.

Bugs, Shapes, and Robots will help your child prepare for preschool. They’re presented with a variety of shapes that they will be asked to trace. On-screen indicators and professional voiceovers will assist and teach them along the way. Every completed shape will allow your child to collect fireflies, which can be released at the very end of the game. It includes a total of 10 shapes to trace.

Bugs, shapes and robots face paint for toddler is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 36 ratings.

Video in Video ($1.99 → Free, 14.5 MB): Put videos within videos with this fun photography app. It’s the perfect app for sharing different perspectives from the same moment in time.

With Video in Video, your only limits are your imagination. Start off by selecting a layout. Then simply tap the open fields to add your videos, or double tap to replace them. Videos can be trimmed down, synced, zoomed in on, rotated, flipped, and repositioned. Once you have something you like, you can share it via YouTube, Viddy, Instagram, or Facebook.

Video in Video is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 197 ratings.
