You can now grab Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for a great price
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the iOS port of the popular (and hugely successful) console game, is now available to download for a great price.
For a limited time, iOS device owners can pick up Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for just $2.99. As before, the application is optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and the game weighs-in at a hefty 1.63 GB. It’s well worth the space though (as well as the price), since San Andreas for iOS offers gamers an exciting, fast-paced storyline alongside the game series’ much loved open-world setup.
The iOS port is a “remastered, high resolution” version of the original game that’s apparently “built specifically for mobile including lighting enhancements, an enriched color palette, and improved character models,” according to developer Rockstar Games. It also features support for iOS controllers, iCloud-powered game saves (allowing players to start the game on one device, and have their progress sync between another iPhone or iPad), and dual analog stick controls for camera control. Though users can also choose another control setup from inside of the app’s options.
Here’s a complete list of features made available in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas:
- Remastered, high-resolution graphics built specifically for mobile including lighting enhancements, an enriched color palette and improved character models.
- Enhanced for the iPhone 5 series and iPad 4th Gen and above with dynamic detailed shadows and real-time environmental reflections.
- Physical controller support for all Made for iOS controllers.
- Cloud save support for playing across all your iOS devices for Rockstar Social Club Members.
- Dual analog stick controls for full camera and movement control.
- Three different control schemes and customizable controls with contextual options to display buttons only when you need them.
You can download Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on the App Store now, and as mentioned, it’s available for just $2.99 (for a limited time only).
