The technology behind Philips Hue already provides a number of amazing features, including the ability to synchronize your smart bulbs with the series “12 Monkeys” using the Syfy Sync app. “Sharknado” and “Sharknado 2” also feature the synchronization with the Hue bulbs, providing a truly immersive experience.

The addition of HomeKit support to the Philips Hue lighting system will most likely come in the form of a smart hub that pairs with your bulbs. Once HomeKit is enabled, you will be able to control your Hue lights using Siri, even remotely via your Apple TV. An Apple support document recently confirmed that the set top box will act as a HomeKit gateway for remote access to your smart devices.
