OnTime for iOS is a virtual watch collector's toolbox
The Apple Watch might be on a lot of our readers’ wrists, but for some of us, luxury wristwatches are collected, swapped out, and worn as part of an ever-growing collection. OnTime is an iOS app made for precisely that kind of person.
Optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and available to download free of charge, OnTime first brings users all the latest news from the wristwatch world. In the app, iOS device owners can access top news stories from the leadling watch magazines and blogs, and it’s also possible to customize individual feeds for more unique, personalized reading experiences.
Users of OnTime can also create their own “watch box,” and, after registering for an account, you can add the watches you own into this collection in order to show it off to the world. Over in the app’s release notes, the creator of the app, Govberg Jewelers, explains:
“My Watch Box” is your virtual watch winder. For each watch, you can add multiple images, watch features, and store important documents like warranty cards, appraisals, service, records, etc. With Govberg OnTime your collection is always a tap away, making it easy to share your watch collection with friends or have access to it whenever you need it.
Finally, “Sell” and “Shop” sections in the application allow iOS device owners to easily sell their luxury wristwatches, or pick up new ones. Free quotes are available for would-be sellers, and the whole process can take place right from an iPhone or iPad. On the other hand, the in-app shop brings a selection of timepieces from Govberg Jewelers’ website to your iOS device.
Of course, our sister side WatchAware can provide all the Apple Watch-related news you need. But for the luxury wristwatch market, as well as the chance of selling or purchasing a timepiece from your iOS device, OnTime looks to be the perfect app.
OnTime is available to download free of charge on the App Store, and it’s optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
