While there are some other events on the schedule tomorrow, Pandora is showing music fans some appreciation during “Listener Love Day.”

Starting at midnight EDT tomorrow morning and running for 24 hours, Pandora is commemorating its 10-year anniversary by providing all users in the United States with an ad-free listening experience.

The next day, Thursday, Sept. 10, the company will officially roll out the Pandora One Day Pass. For a $0.99 in-app purchase, users can unlock the Pandora One experience for 24 hours. Along with ad-free music, you’ll also receive more skips per hour.

To purchase the pass, head to the Pandora One option in the app’s settings menu and then select Day Pass.

Previously, the only way to subscribe to Pandora One was a $4.99 monthly subscription. The new day pass option is definitely an interesting new option and could help hook more subscribers in an increasingly crowded marketplace.

The Pandora app is universal and designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.

You can also control the music from the Apple Watch. Here’s an interactive preview via our sister site WatchAware.

Earlier this summer, Pandora’s CEO claimed that Apple Music has had “no impact” on the company. But it’s obvious that Apple’s entry into the market has caused competitors to come up with new ways to attract users.

And that’s a good thing for consumers.
