StubHub update brings nice improvements for iPhone 6s and iOS 9 users
The popular StubHub app has just made the jump to version 6.0.10 with a number of improvements sure to please iPhone 6s and iOS 9 users.
Most importantly, all iOS 9 users can now take advantage of the app’s support of Spotlight search. You can view events, tickets, listings, favorites, and more without ever needing to open up the app.
Also, thanks to universal links, you can open the app directly from from links instead of needing to launch Safari.
And iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus users can now take advantage of the nice 3D Touch feature. Inside the app, you can press a ticket listing to quickly Peek at the view from that section and ticket info. Pressing a little harder will activate the Pop feature to show you all of the important details.
Selecting the app icon with 3D Touch will bring up a list of Quick Actions including the ability to search what’s happening near you, access your tickets, and view your favorites.
And Apple Watch users can also access their important ticket information directly from your wrist. Here’s an interactive preview of that app courtesy of our sister site WatchAware.
StubHub is universal and designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. For other app news and reviews today, see: CNN gains an Apple Watch complication with time travel, The updated OfficeSuite Free brings multitasking to the iPad, and Fantastical 2 gains 3D Touch, multitasking and more.
