Astropad Mini ($9.99 → Free, 13.3 MB): Turn your iPhone into a professional graphics tablet with Astropad Mini. It’s ideal for graphic artists.

Get more done while on the go with Astropad Mini. It couples your iPhone’s touch display with your Mac, allowing you to draw naturally and retouch images with precision. Astropad Mini utilizes an innovative technology called LIQUID, making it faster than AirPlay and better than the highest quality JPEG. It also works with any Mac app and all of the most popular styluses out there including Pencil by FiftyThree, Wacom, and Pogo Connect.

Astropad Mini is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 26 ratings.

War of Eclipse ($0.99 → Free, 8.7 MB): Captain your very own air battleship and take the fight to the aliens in this role-playing game. War of Eclipse is ideal for fans of retro-style graphics and gameplay.

War of Eclipse is unabashedly retro. Its pixel art graphics are sharp and its gameplay brutally difficult. You’re able to choose from seven powerful battleships, each of which can be customized in a variety of ways. Blast away all kinds of alien invaders by perfectly timing your shots. The game includes 35 enemy types to take on, random equipment drops, and seven different endings to discover.

Universal:

Leg·end·ar·y ($1.99 → Free, 39.7 MB): Carve out a path through numbers with Legendary. It’s for puzzle game fans.

Legendary presents you with a series of character cards with numbers attached to them. Your objective is to add up the cards in order to achieve the target number. Some cards have negative numbers, others can be used multiple times. No matter what, you need to make sure all cards are used up to complete each level.

Leg·end·ar·y is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 9 ratings.

iBomber Defense Pacific ($2.99 → Free, 138.9 MB): Secure the Pacific Rim by strategically placing your towers in iBomber Defense Pacific. It’s for fans of fixed-path tower defense games.

The enemy is closing in and time isn’t on your side. You must place your towers in strategic formations along the path of your enemy. They won’t go down without a fight, however, so you will have to constantly upgrade and repair your towers if you don’t want them to fall. Of course, being an iBomber game, you’re able to bomb your enemies from above when things feel like they’re slipping away.

iBomber Defense Pacific is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 243 ratings.

Wake Alarm Clock ($3.99 → Free, 72.6 MB): Slap, flip, swipe, and shake your sleep away with this innovative alarm clock app. It’s ideal for anyone who has trouble getting out of bed.

Its simple gesture-based UI allows you to quickly set and interact with your alarms. All you have to do is spin the dial to set and swipe down to customize. You’re able to personalize your alarms with 12 exclusive sounds, and set recurring alarms for any day of the week. When it’s time to get up, you can have the app require you to slap or shake to snooze, flip to disable, or swipe to snooze or disable. The app also includes progressive alarm sounds that gradually get louder, the ability to set your alarm with your voice, landscape orientation support, and three levels of shake difficulty.
