Use your iPhone to bust a move in Just Dance 2016
If you’d rather hit the dance floor instead of becoming a guitar god, the newly released Just Dance 2016 has an interesting integration with the iPhone.
While the game is only for consoles, you can use your phone with the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or Wii U version to act as a controller. No other peripherals are needed. You’ll just need to download the Just Dance Controller app.
Along with being used as controller during dancing action, you can even use the app to navigate around the game itself.
If you’re haven’t heard of the popular game series, players get the chance to complete choreographed dances to some popular songs – everything from trending music to throwback tunes.
Here’s a sample of some of the tracks you can dance to in the game.
• “Want to Want Me” by Jason Derulo
• “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson Ft. Bruno Mars
• “All About That Bass” by Meghan Trainor
• “Hey Mama” by David Guetta Ft. Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha & Afrojack
• “Blame” by Calvin Harris Ft. John Newman
• “Born This Way” by Lady Gaga
• “This Is How We Do” by Katy Perry
• “Heartbeat Song” by Kelly Clarkson
• “You’re The One That I Want” by From the Movie Grease
• “No Control” by One Direction
• “Rabiosa” by Shakira Ft. El Cata
• “Fancy” by Iggy Azalea Ft. Charli XCX
• “Same Old Love” by Selena Gomez
• “Cool For The Summer” by Demi Lovato
The Just Dance Controller is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
You can purchase the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or Wii U version of the game now from Amazon.com for $49.99.
While it’s not as cool as Guitar Hero Live for iOS users, getting the chance to use your phone as a controller in Just Dance 2016 is definitely an interesting and unique idea that further blurs the line between traditional and mobile gaming.
If you’re looking for a Just Dance game that can be played using just an iOS device, you can download Just Dance Now for free. It’s universal for both the iPad/iPad mini and iPhone/iPod touch.
