A new game, Underpressure_, takes full advantage of 3D Touch on the iPhone 6s

While the 3D Touch on the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus really adds a great level of functionality, it has yet to truly headline any app. But in an interesting new game, Underpressure_, the feature takes center stage.

The simplistic, two-player game takes just a few seconds to learn. The main objective is to change the color of the screen by placing different amounts of force on it.

There are two different modes – competitive and collaborative. In the competitive mode, you’ll battle and see who can match their color with the one appearing on the center screen first. You’ll need to hold the color for three seconds.

In the collaborative mode, you’ll work together to match the colors in the time allotted. Both players need to be touching their side of the screen to win.

Along with a black and white mode, you can also play the game with more colorful scheme.

And there are two different ways to play. You can select to play with a simple black and white scheme or a more colorful mode.

Underpressure_ can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. You’ll obviously need an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus to play.

Further updates are promised with additional levels and increased difficulty of both modes. I enjoyed getting to play the game with my daughter, especially on the larger screen of my iPhone 6s Plus, but I’d definitely like to see some type of single player mode so I could play without needing a companion.
