Fun puzzler Har•mo•ny 3 is named Apple's Free App of the Week
The App Store is back in business, and that means Apple has a new Free App of the Week to announce. This time, it’s Har•mo•ny 3: the fun puzzle game from the folks at BorderLeap.
Grab it while you can
Usually, Har•mo•ny 3 carries a $1.99 price tag: it’s optimized for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad, and it originally launched on iOS this past June. It follows two further apps in the series, Har•mo•ny and Har•mo•ny 2, and these are priced at $0.99 and $3.99 respectively.
Developer BorderLeap describes Har•mo•ny 3 as “a challenging puzzle game of beautiful colors and captivating music, unified in perfect harmony,” and the title includes 90 challenging levels, new chapters and challenges, and six currently unreleased tracks.
Back when Har•mo•ny 2 launched on iOS, our own Christine Chan took the app for a spin in a dedicated review. She loved the game, explaining:
In har•mo•ny 2, the visuals are simple, beautiful, and full of colors that just go together. I love minimalistic graphics, and har•mo•ny 2 definitely has them. As you play the game, you will come across hundreds of different color palettes that are pure eye candy. These palettes can range from light pastels to darker “twilight” colors to help you doze off into dream land. The game’s animations are quite smooth and fluid, despite not having too much stuff moving around at once.
Even though I did not play the first one, I’m really enjoying har•mo•ny 2. This is the perfect harmonious mix of color, music, and puzzle. I highly recommend grabbing it if you enjoyed the first, or just like tranquil puzzle games.
