Gameloft releases Sniper Fury shooter, teases Gods of Rome fighter
The renowned game developer Gameloft has just released a new mobile game. In addition, it has begun teasing its next major title.
Shoot to killGameloft’s newly released game is none other than the action shooter Sniper Fury. As expected of a game with the word “sniper” in its title, Sniper Fury is a first-person shooter.
In the game, you play as a sharpshooter tasked with killing dangerous enemies, ranging from rival soldiers to adverse air units, across over a hundred missions. At your disposal are a number of rifles and other upgradable and customizable weapons, and a scoping function that you can easily activate using 3D Touch on your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus.
Sniper Fury also features a PvP Multiplayer mode where you can steal resources and keep your loot safe from other players.
But perhaps what really sets Sniper Fury apart from other mobile action shooters is its combination of the visual caliber of a console game and the accessibility of a casual mobile game. It boasts 3-D graphics with atmospheric effects that make for realistic renditions of various locations. What’s more, it employs special “Matrix”-inspired “bullet time” effects for sniper headshots, as shown in the game’s cinematic trailer:

Play godYou may have to wait a while, though, for the official release of Gods of Rome, which has just been teased by Gameloft as its next big game.
Gods of Rome appears to be Gameloft’s take on the fighting game genre currently ruled over by the likes of Warner Bros.’ Injustice: Gods Among Us and Kabam’s Marvel Contest of Champions. But instead of superheroes from comics, Gods of Rome features deities from classical mythology, including the supreme god Zeus and the Titan Atlas.
Take a look at the gameplay trailer for Gods of Rome, which shows off the game’s 3-D graphics and hints at the game’s use of tap and swipe controls:
