Powerful email app Spark lands on the iPad with a new update
One our of favorite apps of 2015, Spark, is taking a huge step forward with a new update. Developer Readdle has just updated the app to version 1.6, bringing support for all iPad models and a number of other improvements.
Perfect for the iPad
The iPad version of the app looks great on both my iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro. The clean design and email viewer takes advantage of the iPad’s larger screen with your inbox located on the left side while each individual email takes up the rest of the screen.
And along with the iPad version, the new iCloud sync will keep your inbox up to date on all of your devices.
Apple Watch users will also receive a big boost with the update. The app can now run natively on WatchOS 2. That should make the app run much faster.
Here’s a preview of the app from our sister site WatchWare.
Wrap-up
Spark is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and all iPad models. It can be downloaded now on the App Store for free.
While there are a huge number of email apps available to download on the App Store, Spark is definitely one of the best. With the addition of an iPad version, not to mention its easy-to-learn and well thought out take on email management, you shouldn’t pass Spark up. And it’s definitely hard to beat free. You can read more about how the app works in our original review.
Readdle also noted that it is hard at work creating Spark for the Mac, which is great news.
