Hum A Hit is there for you whenever inspiration strikes. It includes nine different instruments to choose from. You’re able to hum into your iPhone’s microphone, and it will process the melody and play it back in your chosen sound. The app allows you to record as many ideas as you like. It also includes a metronome.

Lily is a visual music app. It allows you to choose from six lily flowers, each with their own unique sound over three octaves. You can alter the number of petals on each flower by choosing different pads. To create music, simply drag the sliders for each petal left and right. You’re able to generate multiple lily pads with different sounds, and have them all play together in harmony. Your musical creations can be shared via Twitter, YouTube, or Facebook.

The app features an easy to read point unit thermometer, which can be presented in Fahrenheit or Celsius. There’s also a hygrometer, so you can find out how humid it is outside, and a barometer, so you can see the atmospheric pressure. Spin your iDevice into landscape mode to see all three at once. The app also includes a a discomfort index that’s accompanied by descriptions of each level.
Thermo-Hygrometer (Barometer, Feels Like, THI) is available for free today only (04/25). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 978 ratings.
You’re able to add files via iTunes File Sharing, email, and other installed apps, or you can download them from Google Drive, Dropbox, SkyDrive, or Box. Files can then be viewed, organized with folders, zipped and unzipped, favorited, renamed, and shared. The app also includes search, a built-in browser, and password protection.

- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
- The free version of your app must not include ads.
