Another iOS 5 Notification Center widget to hit the jailbreak scene is WeeFacebook. This handy jailbreak tweak adds a Facebook widget to Notification Center, much like WeeTwitter - which we told you about the other day.
This week, we've seen a lot - Apple released unlocked iPhone 4 handsets, a Facebook for iPad app is (probably) coming and - as per usual - another person is suing Apple.
There’s only one place for the multitasking tray in iOS 5, and that place is Notification Center. While Apple hasn’t yet made the change (and likely never will), one jailbreak tweak promises a multitasking tray widget to the center, as you can see in the above screenshot.
Since the launch of iOS 5 (beta 1), jailbreak developers have been working hard developing widgets for Notification Center. Recently, a new widget appeared in Cydia that allows users to view "system stats" in Notification Center, and it's called SystemPrefs.
The iOS experience is about to get even better. Thanks to iOS 5, Apple will unleash a dizzying array of new features, most which are highly anticipated. Still, the possible inclusion of third-party widgets is not something I feel will benefit iOS in general and here is why.
