AgileBits, the developer behind powerful password manager 1Password, has just announced a new individual subscription option for the popular service.

$3 per month

$3 per month

Much like the 1Password for Families option unveiled earlier this year, subscribers will pay a set fee – $3 per month – and receive access to the service on all platforms, including the Mac, Web, iPhone, and iPad along with all updates and upgrades.

Along with a automatically syncing information between devices, subscribers will receive data loss protection, item history for restoring deleted or changed items, service document storage, and a multi-factor security model.

If you currently use the software and want to transfer to the subscription service, there’s a video that walks you through the process.

And until September 21, anyone who signs up will receive their first six months for free.
