1Password Announces a New Individual Subscription Plan

Subscribers can get the first six months free for a limited time
August 3, 2016

AgileBits, the developer behind powerful password manager 1Password, has just announced a new individual subscription option for the popular service.

$3 per month

$3 per month

Much like the 1Password for Families option unveiled earlier this year, subscribers will pay a set fee – $3 per month – and receive access to the service on all platforms, including the Mac, Web, iPhone, and iPad along with all updates and upgrades.

Along with a automatically syncing information between devices, subscribers will receive data loss protection, item history for restoring deleted or changed items, service document storage, and a multi-factor security model.

If you currently use the software and want to transfer to the subscription service, there’s a video that walks you through the process.

And until September 21, anyone who signs up will receive their first six months for free.

If the subscription option doesn’t interest you, the iOS version of the app is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and all iPad models. It can be downloaded for free, but for a one-time in app purchase of $9.99, you can unlock the Pro feature set that includes additional categories, multiple vaults, personalization options, and more.

Pro users can also take advantage of the app on the Apple Watch.

The Mac app can also be downloaded now directly from the Mac App Store for $64.99.
