Adobe Photoshop for iPad Updated With Rotate Canvas and Refine Edge

July 27, 2020

Adobe Photoshop for iPad has just added two new features in a recent update – Refine Edge and Rotate Canvas.

Two New Features

Two New Features

With the Refine Edge brush, users can refine the border area of a specific selection like hair or fur. That can help produce a better image with a mix of sharp and soft edges.

You can read more about how to use the feature here.

A two-finger gesture can now rotate the canvas while zooming in and out at the same time. You can select a snap at 0, 90, 180, and 270 degrees. To reset the rotation and zoom, do a quick zoom out pinch gesture.

When reopening the file, the rotation will return to zero degrees.

You can download Adobe Photoshop now on the App Store for free. There is a 30-day free trial to try out the app. After that, it requires a $9.99 per month subscription.

Anyone with a qualifying Adobe Photoshop subscription can use the app for free. The app is supported by most modern iPad models.
