Adobe Slate updated with support for videos and Google Photos
Adobe Slate helps turn words and images into beautiful stories. The iPad app is designed for anyone who doesn’t have the time or resources to create a website or glossy magazine, such as students, teachers, non-profit organizations, small-business owners, corporate communicators, and even regular individuals with stories to share.
The app’s latest update makes it even easier to make and share gorgeous visual stories with the addition of new and noteworthy features.
Key features
No design skills required
Adobe Slate lets you start with a clean slate that you can easily fill in with words and images to form your visual story. Start with a title and a subtitle, add a main image, and you’re good to go.
Just add text and images
Simply type or dictate to add text. Bring in images straight from your device or choose ones from the Web. And then play with a variety of styles and layouts.
Share your story
Select from any of the app’s built-in professionally designed themes to instantly make your story stand out with gorgeous fonts, looks, and motion effects. And when you’re done, share the link to your story for readers to enjoy, whether they’re on smartphones, tablets, or desktops.

One of the most requested feature has arrived in Adobe Slate: support for video. As a result, you can now embed videos (like the one above) into your stories from the popular video-sharing sites YouTube and Vimeo and even from Adobe Slate’s sibling “stand out” presentation app, Adobe Voice.
